Cherie Brant Cherie practices at Gardiner Roberts LLP in Toronto in real estate and energy/natural resources. One of Cherie’s main goals is to facilitate economic development opportunities for First Nations within the Energy/Natural Resource sector. In particular, she acts for the First Nations Energy Alliance and provides technical advocacy advice on the Duty to Consult, RFP consultation and development streamlining.
Brian Calliou Brian became the Program Director for The Banff Centre’s Aboriginal Leadership and Management in August 2003. He served as the Chair of the Alberta Historical Resources Foundation Board and Vice-President of the Board of the Indigenous Bar Association. Brian was a sole practitioner with Brian Calliou Law Office in Calgary, Alberta. He developed and taught two courses for the School of Native Studies at the University of Alberta. Brian is a Cree and member of the Sucker Creek First Nation in the Treaty 8 area of north central Alberta.
 Clint Davis Clint, an Inuk from Nunatsiavut, is the President and CEO of the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business. He was the National Director of Aboriginal Banking at BMO Bank of Montreal prior to joining CCAB in February 2008. Prior to that, he held senior positions with the federal departments of Indian Affairs and Northern Development and the Treasury Board Secretariat. Clint received his undergraduate degree from Acadia University, a law degree from Dalhousie University and a Masters of Public Administration from Harvard University. He is a Canada/US Fulbright scholar and a recipient of two scholarships from the National Aboriginal Achievement Foundation.
Andrea Dykstra Andrea is a Senior Policy Analyst with Indian and Northern Affairs Canada working in Aboriginal consultation and accommodation. Previously, Andrea held positions with Environment Canada and Health Canada - First Nation and Inuit Health Branch. She is a graduate of St. Francis Xavier University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. In 2003 she was elected Co-President of the Aboriginal People’s Commission of the Liberal Party of Canada, becoming its youngest president in Canadian history. In addition to numerous scholarships and awards, she received the National Aboriginal Achievement Award in 2006 in the Youth category. Andrea is Mi’kmaw of the Pictou Landing First Nation, NS.
